Growing up in Tacoma, Brent developed a passion
for working with youth at an early age. After a
period of time away from the Boys and Girls
Clubs, Brent has happily returned to an
organization he loved. Brent graduated from
Wilson High School and then attended Pacific
Lutheran University where he received his
Bachelors in Print and Broadcast Journalism in
2006. During his tenure at PLU, Brent worked as
a program specialist at both the Lakewood and
Eastside branches. Upon graduation Brent found
work in retail management before returning to
PLU to receive his Masters of Fine Arts in
Education, which he completed in July of 2009.
While getting ready to wrap up his masters
program, Brent discovered an opportunity to once
again work for the Boys and Girls Clubs and he
knew it was an opportunity he could not pass up.
He returned in June of 2009 in the form of K-6
Program Director for the South Pierce County
branches. Brent has loved the opportunity to be
back with the Boys and Girls Club helping spread
the Kids at Hope mission to the youth of the
South Pierce County area. Brent currently lives
in Puyallup and enjoys playing Basketball,
fishing and spending time with his friends.
Brent is also currently in the process of
writing a book, which he hopes one day to have
published.
